First United Methodist Presbyterian Church

A combined congregation, we have integrated the practices of United Methodist and Presbyterian traditions. Contemporary and traditional worship services are available. Please tour our website to learn more about FUMPC!

Our purpose is to be a spirit-filled church where lives are enriched. We believe our salvation was bought and paid for as a gift from Jesus and is not on our own accomplishments. We believe in the trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our knowledge of God comes directly from the Bible. As Christians, we are called to engage in God's work in the Church as well as the world.

Service is at 9:00am each Sunday, alternating every other week with contemporary services and traditional services. Following worship is fellowship time and then Sunday School classes for all ages.

Help Change The World

The mission team is excited about the opportunity we have this Lent to help two ministries. We are off to a great start. On February 18th the kids collected $91.10, and on February 25th $142.99 was collected. That is a total of $234.09! What a great start. Remember to grab your change in the coming weeks and Help Change the World!

The money collected will be divided between:

N.R.G. Packs: This is a 501c3 ministry organization that provides weekend meals for students in need. The packs consist of staple supplements and bags of nutritious, kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare foods for students in the Montgomery County R2 Schools and Immaculate Conception School. NRG Packs is completely dependent on donations and grants. According to the website, sponsoring one child for the entire school year costs $200. How many kids do you think we can help this year?

Our House: is a ministry to the homeless in Callaway County. Through committed volunteers and staff they provide education, advocacy and shelter. During the winter months, they provide space heaters for those with access to electricity, warmth bags (blanket, gloves, snacks, hygiene items, hot hand warmers, etc.) for anyone in need of extra warmth. And when they have enough donations, emergency housing. These are just first steps. At Our House they say, “Homelessness is a community problem, requiring a community solution.”

Help our youth by sparing some change.
